SD61 Career Fair

We had a great day hanging out at the SD61 Career Fair held at Archie Browning Sports Centre on April 25th. This was a fantastic opportunity for students from various districts, including SD61, SD62, SD63, SD64, and SD79, to explore different career paths. Approximately 1,900 students attended the event. A big thank you to Chantal, Nitasha, and Jo-Anne for their invaluable contributions at the Farmer Construction booth. Their enthusiasm and positive feedback left a lasting impression on the students who visited. Engaging with them provided an opportunity to shed light on the diverse career opportunities available within the construction industry. Beyond traditional on-site roles, we emphasized the significance of positions like estimators, project coordinators/managers, and others. It’s incredibly rewarding to participate in events like these, where we can educate and inspire the future workforce. We’re grateful for the chance to contribute to students’ understanding of career options and are committed to supporting their journey towards fulfilling professions. Thank you to the organizers of this event and to all the students who stopped by and chatted with us! Wishing you all the best and much success on your career path!
